Montana is expecting orchestras from 3 countries at the festival

A total of 18 formations from Bulgaria, Latvia, Turkey, and Romania will take part in the XVIII International Festival of Brass Orchestras "Diko Iliev" - Montana 2024. They will be held from May 31 to June 2 at the central square "Zheravitsa".
The program will be opened by the Representative Guard Brass Band of the National Guard Unit - Sofia. On the first evening of the festival, the renewed Municipal Wind Orchestra - Targovishte will perform. The audience's favorite youth orchestras with majorettes from Troyan and Velingrad will perform. The City Wind Orchestra from Bursa - Turkey will be on the festival stage for the first time. An attractive finale will mark the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the brass band "Vivo Montana" with the special participation of the star Ruslan Mainov.
On June 1, the Municipal Wind Orchestra - Pleven, the Sofia Wind Orchestra at the House of Culture "Iskar" - Sofia, the Municipal Wind Orchestra - Botevgrad will present their program, as well as the debutants in the festival from the First Student’s Guards Orchestra with majorettes at the "Ivan Vazov" Secondary School - the city of Pleven and the Mezzoforte Orchestra from the toen of Otopeni - Romania.
On June 2, the program will begin with the participation of the Wind Orchestra at the Community Center "Razvitie - 1869" - Vratsa. The professional orchestras will be represented by the Wind Orchestra from the Palace of Culture - Pernik. Two attractive formations - Youth Brass Band with cheerleaders - Botevgrad, and Representative Municipal Wind Orchestra with majorettes - Lovech, will capture the audience's attention with their interesting program. For the first time, an orchestra from the Baltics was invited - Wind Orchestra from Cesis, Latvia. As good hosts, the musicians from the "Diko Iliev" Wind Orchestra at the Community center "Razum - 1883" and the majorettes group at the Municipal Youth Center - Montana will give the stage to the guests and close the festival.
